No long post here folks. Just something simple...something I already know the answer to, I'm just wondering if anybody else is thinking it, or if anyone is going to ask the networks about this...
Can someone please explain to me why, with the Russian/Georgian conflict, networks and their websites had no problem showing pictures of victims, of badly hurt people suffering, as soon as they got a hold of such shots, but such pictures were hidden from US citizens for years when it was damage we caused in Iraq, and we paid for, and damage those same networks like CNN showed to people in other countries, but hid from our eyes, even though we funded it? Just curious...why are these victims worth seeing? Why are we allowed to see and empathize and bear witness to their pain and not others who we are more directly responsible for hurting?
