More ridiculously one-sided NY Times Israel coverage

See, this is why I have no patience for people that flip out whenever someone simply mentions that it might be nice to consider the Palestinian perspective on things.

This ridiculous article at the NY Times site, with a nice front page picture of a poor poor Israeli child, is a PERFECT example of the type of Israel biased coverage that dominates US news.

The article focuses mainly on how a playground had to be built in a bunker so kids will have a place to play that is safe, because Hamas rockets keep reigning down. However, many people argue that, given what they know is an inferior fighting force, Hamas would be crazy to regularly target civilians, and so most of the "attacks" are aimed at desolate areas simply as a show of force. Admittedly, not all of them, and I am not forgiving anything bad done on their end, but any astute reader will notice that it is rather strange that not a single actual death is mentioned because of the Hamas rockets...only that it is interfering with a regular playground.

Then a few paragraphs in, they slide in the little fact that Israel's response has killed 1,300 people. You would think if this was remotely justified, the writer would combat this atrocious fact with the Israeli casualties. It's astounding how biased this coverage is, yet they rarely get called out on it. What the $%^*?
